How trading works
Trade outcome shares
A market represents a question with defined resolution rules. Each outcome has a price between 0 and 1 pUSD. A winning share normally redeems for 1 pUSD according to the original market’s resolution; losing shares redeem for zero. Read the event’s rules before trading.
Market and limit orders
A market order uses your explicit maximum buy price or minimum sell price. It may execute partially across available TAW and Polymarket liquidity. A limit order first takes crossing TAW offers within your selected price. Its unfilled shares rest on TAW at that price after the initial execution is conclusive, with a zero maker fee. Limit orders do not route to Polymarket. A displayed price does not guarantee that an order of your size can execute.
Review every cost
TAW charges zero maker fee. The taker fee is 0% where the verified source market is free and 0.50% where it charges fees, for both internal and external execution. For external execution, Polymarket’s fee comes from the current parameters of the individual market and the execution price. There is no universal 2% or 3.5% source fee. Network costs may also apply. The quote displays principal, TAW fees, source fees, the route and estimated network costs. TAW local fees round up to the smallest collateral unit per fill. For Polymarket execution on markets with source fees, TAW adds the 0.50% builder fee shown in the review. If Polymarket’s verified market fee is zero, TAW’s fee at either venue and the external fee-rounding allowance are also zero. On paid markets, a 0.01 pUSD service allowance covers ordinary rounding within the accepted spend policy. A partial fill can change the actual combined fees and quantity; confirmed receipts show those amounts separately from the estimate. SELL minimum net proceeds depend on the number of shares actually filled.
Your wallet and positions
Your connected wallet authorizes operations from your trading wallet. Outcome shares remain in that wallet after settlement. You may sell owned shares when supported liquidity is available, cancel an unfilled order remainder, or redeem resolved positions through their original adapter. Cancellation is complete only after it is confirmed.
Separate data sources
Event probability history and Polymarket volume are source data. TAW volume counts TAW activity. TAW discussion contains comments posted here. Missing source history, balances or liquidity are displayed as unavailable.
